Hello my friends,
I am having my first solo art show for this year on March 2nd at the Shanghi restaurant here in Ottawa.
This show will be a little different than most of my regular shows as I will have some prints of past work that I have done over the last 6 years. I will also have new original work on display as well, and as some of you know, I typically work with less color in the winter and I focus more on the image and detail of the message I am trying to portray. This is going to be a fun as I will have a raffle the night of the vernissage for a large print of the photo you see here, only the print is the original artist proof that has been signed by myself as well as Marc Adornato, the brilliant art mind behind this lovely mash up of my work and the archival photo of the parliament buildings on fire back in 1916. Mark does amazing work and will be showing in various places here in Ottawa this year. So as mentioned above, there will be a raffle for this print (there is no text on the print), as well as a few Martelock T-shirts and a bunch of sexy art up for grabs as well. I have tried a few new techniques for this show and I hope you like what I have come up with. I love making you all laugh with my work so I do hope I am successful with this.

oh, and one last note regarding June 2012 for those of you out there who do not know yet, I AM GETTING MARRIED! True story. This will be my best show yet.
